My First.. D&D DM session

I don't mind it. I'm sure we're playing it very loosely but mainly I'm interested in keeping things fun and not trying to run over the players with swarms of mobs. I do make up shit on the fly, as is recommended in the DM book.

I don't think I'm doing a terribly good job of setting the scene or building NPC characters, but it's pretty hard holding their interest at times. Lina is completely not interested in the RP part of the game and she's just rolling around yawning when we do. Which is such a pity because rogues are the best for RP sessions! I'd love it if she just snuck around and pick pocketed people. It's very sad but I think part of it is because I'm not engaging her completely.

I think if I can get the props down and establish characters better, that part of the game might be more fun.
